Being on top of the trending curve. Learning the Eden app

This is a very specific post about something I am learning. It is an app called Eden by Dan Koe and his partners. So it will be interesting only to those of you who are content creators, and need to be on top of trends. It also has other uses, since it is essentially a second brain, but I am not exploring that today. Also,
it is not free; I have to say this at the beginning. I got a good deal as I was with the app from the beginning, when it was called Cortex.

I am exploring it at my own pace. In my own self-intuitive way, which is – not reading instructions, basically just clicking on things. Exploring it tab by tab.

Starting with the “Discover tab”

The search window has a moving feature with suggestions – that I really like; it makes it less ‘static’. It has a robust filter. And I mean it is ROBUST!

Currently, you can select to monitor 7 platforms: Twitter, Threads, YouTube, Substack, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn.

The languages available are: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, and Arabic.

Other filters you can apply:

Show posts that are Top 10%, Top 5%, Top 1%

Sorted by number of followers from Any-8M+; you can adjust this with a scale.

Sorted by: relevance, most liked, most viewed, most shared, and newest

Sorted by minimum engagement – by Likes, Views, and Shares; you can adjust the scale

Sorted by format – here it is divided by platforms and their specific formats i.e., notes, carousels

Sorted by an outlier score on a scale – Any to 20x more

So this is all you are getting from me today; I did have time to just explore one little button 🙂

Have a wonderful and productive week, dear friends!

Questions I am trying to solve: Can a "one-person business" survive? Does it have a chance in today's world? Is it sustainable for more than a few years? Is it something that can work long-term? In my blog, I am mainly creating lists with tips on how to avoid numerous burnouts while working full-time (and hoping to retire early hahaha).
